All midfield, Downing, Sterling, Wisdom have been utter wank. Shame we're only allowed three subs.

Very sloppy first half there in terms of passing and, in particular, final ball. Our pressing was poor and - in the final third - we seemed to be running down cul-de-sacs.

Having said that, if we are in touching distance with 20-30 mins to go, I fancy that the energy and pace of Henderson and Sturridge can make a difference.

We need massive investment, Man City levels, or we are looking at many more years in the wilderness IMO. With this current set up things are gonna get worse before they get better IMO.

Sterling has been bounced of loads of challenges. Keep drowning on and bring Hendo on for Allen and Sturridge on for sterling

Sturridge on, Allen off. Drop Downing into midfield to start the second half. Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling being on the pitch together may open up some space on the pitch.

What does annoy me is Rodgers failure to recognise this and do anything about it.

Go out, now, jan transfer window and sign the biggest meanest fastest central midfielder we can and get him in there to ****ing do some snapping

Absolutely terrible, its like we have no energy for it. Its our biggest league fixture of the season and we are just without spark.

The midfield has no creativity going forward and is suspect defensively, so if we've set up cautiously, we're no use for anything.

Lucas is still miles away from where he was, distribution has been poor. Allen looks scared, devoid of ideas and seems to have forgotten most of what made him stand out for Swansea.

Sterling isn't able to beat his man, isn't offering much. I'd take him off and bring Sturridge on. Henderson for either of Lucas or Allen is a no brainer.
