    They are so clinical.

Our midfield and tactics in the first half let us down.

That said, feel encouraged by Luis and Sturridge partnership.

Vidic was offside for the 2nd goal
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We only start playing when we're 2 goals down.

I thought the first half defeatist attitude stunk, we went in with a inferiority complex and got we deserved.

        Going forward:
        1) Rodgers needs to work with the defence, how many stupid goals have we conceded - at a minimum be difficult to beat
        2) Buy a left back FFS, Playing Glen Johnson at left back and another at right back is not ideal.
        3) We need someone who can tackle in midfield, oh Mascharano please come back, all is forgiven, at this point in time i'd even take Momo back
        4) From now on Sturridge has to partner Suarez
        We come not to play.

          Started with the wrong team.

Suarez, Sturridge and Borini should always be our starting forward line. **** knows what to do with the midfield.

Sterling looked incredibly out of his depth, it wasn't that his touches were poor, it's that he was simply unable to get by any of the defenders around him.

How the **** is Allen getting a game?

If we had put some effort into the first half it might have been a different game. They've got one of the worst teams they've had for years and we just backed off and let them stroke it around.

I'm sure Rodgers will be giving it the we-can-take-the-positives-from-the-second-half spiel. Infuriating.

Some annoying comments on this site today. First clear point today to make is that we looked better in the second half because the Mancs tired out after all their pressing.

The difference in energy levels in the second half was staggering, with all but the United subs shattered.

But of course, we made errors in the game and they cost us. But we have a very young team and sadly it's to be expected. That said, the biggest errors came from two of this seasons best players, Agger & Johnson for TERRIBLE marking.
                            Forwards.......

                              We collectively played poorly.

No reason to pick Allen as a scape goat.

With what we have at the moment we definately need to start Suarez and Sturridge together, still not sure about Borini, after being out for a while I don't think he's ready to start every game. So at the moment I'd go with Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling, with Borini coming off the bench frequently and swapping with Sterling when Borini is fitter. I would then make a decision on which of Sterling or Borini plays when we've seen more of Borini
