It would be a mistake to sell him in the summer, unless he's REALLY **** during the second half of the season and picks up some ridiculous injury and basically rules out any chance he has of getting better.
    Really? Everyone?

I agree with this, he could even control a simple ball into feet when we tried to play forwards.

Henderson came on for 10 minutes so how exactly was he ****?

Gerrard was miles better than Allen he made our goal for starters but on a whole he was better in every department even though he wasn't great.

Lucas did a job on Van Persie but again wasn't great yet still head and shoulders above Allen.

Allen played better in the 2nd half I'll give him that.

His game improved when there was another option up top to pass too.

Hate picking on them but both Sterling and Downing are just not a threat; goals or assists.

Borini comes on, all rusty yet he's mixing it in the box, volleying it wide etc.

It's time for Brendan to not play safe anymore.
        We come not to play.

We need a strong defensive Midfield player and i just don't see it in Allen. The games pass him by and he becomes a passanger. He might have been great for Swansea but LFC is a massive step up and so far he has not been up too the task. We go on about ot having money and yet overspend on players like Alen when there are far better player abroad for cheaper fee's. Other clubs seem to get this but LFC are yet again blinded when it comes to the transfer market.

Not everyone but alot of us obviously thought he had made a good start to his career with us
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

When has Rodgers played it safe? He can only use what's available.

They seem to be doing just fine without him too. Hhmm.

We call him (Allen) the crab in my house.
I was referring to their whole time at the club, not just this match

We only need one top defensive midfielder to start, and that is supposed to be Lucas, who is still off the pace of the game.

Allen, like Sterling, will be better players once they've done a bit more gym work and got better upper body strength.

His hands are/were a bit tied, Sturridge is unfit and Borini has been injured for a couple of months but yeah in future it'll be nice to see all 3 on the pitch together.

Oh forgive me for exaggerating a little in the post-match thread after we've just lost to Manchester United. No one else is as melodramatic, I should really follow their example.

They seem to be doing just fine without Rodgers as well, they've also done well without Vorm and Neil Taylor. Are they all ****? No.

He wasn't only player today that played poorly.

                              That's all.
