You just know that Barcelona see him as the heir to Iniesta. It does make me wonder why we hardly see him in the central areas nowadays, or it even being contemplated.

Klopp's system clearly requires pace and movement for it to work. Although I feel Coutinho has come on leaps and bounds in the left flank role, I still harbour hopes that if he stays, we'll see him in the central areas, perhaps alongside Lallana.

Klopp's talked about the lack of wingers for two seasons now. I'd love to see us use the chunk of our budget on proper attacking width and a forward. At least two new wingers, and another centre-forward. This would give Coutinho options ahead of him to make his clever passes, as well as being able to press.

Coutinho is best playing from deep and advancing forward i.e. the No.8 role. Ideally, Firmino would take the No.10 position, as he has the ability to play in that role, and advance between the lines to support the striker, and go beyond him.

how I see it too, Coutinho would still be a goal threat from deep too and he'd be great at feeding those ahead of him plus we get Firmino in his best position and have two top strikers up top. It's the only way for us imo.

It's so obvious, and allows us to bring in another fast winger to stretch player and cause havoc. We all saw Coutinho in the 13/14 season cause damage when he had Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge ahead of him.
