Was over-powered and didn't get much support from his team mates. There wasn't much spark between the front three last night, we looked rather ordinary.

I don't think there will be many people that thought he played well in either half to be honest. The tools are there for the lad just a matter of him getting some much needed consistency in his game IMO.
He was a pivotal figure in the first half. Most of the time the attack went through him. Trouble was he gave it away too many times either through sloppiness or making the decision. It happens.Oh I don't know.

Pivotal is the wrong word as there was no real development up front
I disagree i thought we were the better side in the first half but never really looked like scoring. Coutinho got a lot of the ball and you would expect that as he is the "brain" of the team, the playmaker but it just didn't happen for him last night.
In saying that.... Fernando was outstanding last night, gave Coutinho space in the areas he couldn't hurt them but closed down everything when it mattered. Quality at what he does & he'll be crucial to City this season IMO.

He has been piss poor so far. I would stick Sterling in the middle.
