Thanjk you.

I'd drop him - harsh I know but he has been very poor for some time.
His passing is slack, real slack and sloppy.
He can't tackle.
He's too light.
He sometimes plays a dangerous pass to a forward player that they're realistically not going to get as the defender is always going to make the tackle.
His shooting is poor.
Drop him for a few weeks, let him work on the above in training, get stronger, sharper. Give him a bit of a rest and see how he gets on.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
His balls aren't working with the same frequency as last season because the movement isn't the same as last season. Suarez was everywhere, harrying, jostling and making himself available all over the park. Sturridge is also out and his swiftness is missing just now too. There isn't the same availability for Cout to pass to. Its got to have an effect.
When he's playing well, he's as strong as an Ox. Unfortunately right now he's as strong as an Ozil which is is not good.
He's getting no movement with Lallana and Balotelli who both want to do Coutinho's job (drop deep, collect ball). Coutinho needs Sturridge. Certainly can't play Lallana and Coutinho together for sure.

I think that is the crux of our problems with our attacking play at the moment, our movement up top doesn't seem to be giving us as many options as we were creating last season.

I am not buying its solely down to movement
His passing has been miles off when people are in acres of space at times
At times last season his form dipped and hes definitely in one of those dips at the minute
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

The first half a season with us he was outstanding but last season he was inconsistent. One great display followed by 2 or 3 stinkers, just one of those incredibly frustrating players. No doubts the lack of movement plays a part in it but really and truly he's just been very poor.
The talent is there, you would wonder though if he's ever going to fulfil his potential.

He needs better movement in front of him. Movement needs to be better from our front three. It will come with games.
I don't think he really had many if any actual stinkers last season. His form dipped but not that bad.
This season maybe.
stinkers was a bit harsh. In my defence though i had just watched the new transformers movie & it's put me in a bad mood for the rest of my natural life.
He hasn't had a great start to the season but he was in South America last week for that friendly. Coming back from there and playing vs. Villa and in the CL he would have been tired no doubt. City had the luxury of resting Toure for the Arsenal game after playing against the Ivory Coast.

He's been called up for next months Brazil games....think we should have given Suso a chance in place of Coutinho
