This is why people think Barca are arrogant. I didn't see a hint of an apology in there.Originally posted by shanks69 View PostReally?

Twitter was rife with us signing Keita not that long ago (as in 'done deal') and certain quarters are still talking about Van Dijk in the same context. Honestly wouldn't read much into it. We've been scheduled to announce the pair of them at least ten times in the last month.Originally posted by Norbs View PostAccording to a mate Twitter is rife with the news that he's off. Official announcement tomorrow morning. Anyone who uses Twitter who can confirm this?Really?

But that was good news this is bad, we react differently to the twoOriginally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostTwitter was rife with us signing Keita not that long ago (as in 'done deal') and certain quarters are still talking about Van Dijk in the same context. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Or............. sell/exchange Sakho and spend the £120m on Keita and VVD and once again have a small net spend!Originally posted by red g View Postgone up 40million to 120million.
Thats a **** load of cash and we could monitor the **** out of loads of new players!!
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but does not actually get you anywhere.

Agreed. If I was him I wouldn't want to stay. It's not looking great at the moment, admittedly there is a month of the window left but it's a very negative club and fanbase to be around right now.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostSurely Phil would want to leave seeing that we haven't exactly bought in much quality to seriously challenge on all fronts.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. I think he would be badly advised to leave now
We still have a decent manager/team, and hes on the verge of something special and taking his game to the next level. He can grow here without too much pressure. Him and his wife are settled in the area.
If he goes to Barca this summer he will be Neymars replacement in peoples minds and thats big boots to fill.
Only 25, not like its his last chance saloon. Barca arent exactly in great shape either at the moment.
Give it 12 months see it pans out and he can chose to join the Brazilian national team at PSG or go to Barca
