How so? Would you have Salah moved back into midfield as a playmaker?

He’s a completely different player so I would beg to differ.

Yeah, I'd say they're similar and the pissing and moaning we're seeing is hypocrisy of the highest order.

No, but Coutinho has started games on the left and drifted inside, us signing Salah frees Mane to play on the left.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

**** them and I hope the club take them to court and tell them and Phil under no circumstances are we doing business with them unless they offer a world record fee all upfront.
Are they? No different to any other club coveting a player imo - we didn't exactly cover ourselves in glory over VVD, hopefully Barca will be made to pay with their wallet in the same way we did for the **** up.

We didn't have our players coming out on a daily basis on how VVD would be perfect for us. I hope we draw then in the CL if we get through and smash the cunts

Given we'd been reported for tapping up that wouldn't have been a good idea - incidentally Messi has been saying he doesn't think Barca should sign Coutinho.

Ideal scenario is wee draw the spawny gits in the CL and we **** them over good and proper.

Nowhere near enough. I bet it's like £40m up front with a pound a week for the rest of time, an add on if he becomes NFL MVP and a crate of San Miguel for the boys.

€140m plus €40m variables isn’t a million miles away. I’d probably settle for €150m upfront, single payment with €50m variables. Red line is that the deal can be struck now but it completes in July 2018.

In today's rates that's £124m + £35m in add ons. As long as we redeem £20m of those add ons that's £145m which you don't shake a stick at.
                              One tit for another.

Yup. We'll probably look back on it like the Suarez deal in a few years as a bad deal but we can't keep players against their will indefinitely.
