We were told we had a £150m for the last transfer window alone from the increased revenue. And next transfer window that revenue remains and we have additional CL money coming in. So yeah stingy *******s.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View Post£55 for Keita also. So we have spent £205m. Doesn't feel too stingy to me. Plus we have spent that £205m before Coutinho happened so we haven't even received that money yet. So an outlay of £205m is stingy? Surely only UTD and City will beat that recent spend?
If we sell Coutinho for £130m say and we pay £90m for Lemar that would make a net spend somewhere around £160m over 2 transfer windows.
But yeah...stingy *******s!

What about what Liverpool FC and the fans might want, is that not part of the equation?
BTW while I know this is just football, "accept it and move on" is a terrible attitude when you feel you might be getting screwed in a situation. Just saying.
Alonso, masherano, Torres, Suarez..........
We managed to keep him in summer but he is still intent on leaving. The club will take the money, Barca will eventually pay up

Think he extended his contract. Was something on the radio earlier about him and three others who would have had six months left on their contracts all having their contracts extended.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Who do you think was telling the main press people that? It was coming from our club's media mouthpieces. The same people saying Coutinho is basically gone now as long as they meet the demanding price.Originally posted by shanks69 View PostThat was only what the press said, liverpool didn't.

I've calmed down since the Melissa Reddy report
One thing I think we can expect from FSG is to get a good price for the lad.
What a dickhead though, in the summer he feigned injury the day before the start of the season, left us in the lurch for the champions league qualifier.
We lost 7 points in the league until he came back in properly.
The manager, teammates and fans accepted him back with open arms, only for him to start up the week of a derby game.
I'd say **** em, but that's exactly what he wants to force a move and the price down.
Jurgen should tell him he's not for sale until the summer, he's free to go on holiday and come back the 1st of Feb rather than stink the place out.
