I was thinking we could do with a Vincent Kompany type centre back. The bloke is a monster, and City are **** without him. We need a guy like that, a rock that attacks fall to pieces upon and games are won from. A leader at the back. It's interesting that Brendo hasn't tinkered with the defence at all, I don't think he does defending.
    Modifying post.

We did well? Against what sides? What half decent side have we taken 3 points off?

We took a point out of the City and Arsenal game, both of those sides aren't exactly playing well at the moment, but we should expect to raise out game for those games anyway. After that we took 3 points off Norwich, Sunderland, QPR, Fulham, West Ham and Southampton. That takes us back to the beginning of December and they're all bottom 10 clubs. In that period we also got mullered by Villa and Stoke and lost to Oldham in the FA Cup.

I'm not sure where this good form is?

Yeah the leagues not lied for however many years it is now. If its not average ability it's certainly an average mentality in too many of them.

For 3 games before we played Man City and Arsenal. Yes.

But even during them two games, especially arsenal, we had chances and could of been 4 up within 30 mins.

Came back to bite us on the arse again

We'll see. The owners will expect a return on their investment.

                On Agger:

Not the first time he's been blocked to easily at a corner.

And that second goal! What the **** is he doing? Should be blocking Lukaku route to goal, not a potential pass.

On the other hand, he'll be thinking he could walk straight into the team after seeing that.

Agger has turned into Djimi Traore. Enrique is utter tripe. Johnson was also wasteful tonight. When Suarez and Gerrard have a bad day in the office, the rest of the team goes to ****...
United would not keep giving the ball away. They'd be better in possession. They miss pens too though.

You can blame Agger if you want but the problem is lack of a quality and physical DM.

It was case today as it was the case entire season.

Brendan is going nowhere. Deal with it.

yeah? two seasons ago for example spurs were 4th after 26 games with pretty much the same amount of points... what does that tell you?

I agree but today a strong DM wasn't going to win us that game, our full backs who have been good lately were both shocking. Suarez was awful for once and Gerrard missed a pen.

I've just read your lack of quality.. But I've already typed it now

I'm not blaming him, I just don't think he's as good as is usually made out.
