In all honesty, I think you're pretty balanced when you post, win, lose or draw.

Without a doubt though, I agree with MrM. There are definitely posters on here, other forums and twitter who revel in the poor results. They are on here straight away, posting in threads on Rodgers, Borini, Allen, Post-Match absolutely slaughtering us. That's their opinion granted, but they try and force it on everyone else and it becomes boring, tedious and quite depressing in all honesty.

I'm in neither camp, nor pro Brendan or anti. I like the guy though. I like how he talks about football and I like how we have been playing this season. Of course the results have been disappointing though. But some fans have been dishing out personal insults and jump on every poor result. That's annoying
    Fair enough mate.

I don't find the negativity as annoying, I am interested in the reasons and although I don't always agree I have to honestly say that I can sympathise.

Lets move on and hope yesterday was genuinely a defining moment. If we can turn the EL tie around as well this could be a sprint finish to the end of the season.

      Those were my thoughts exactly.

Just what the hell has happened to Downing - passing, running, moving into spaces - beating players. What's he done?

Good performance and great result, particularly impressed with Sturridge and Suarez and its going to be interesting to see how Coutinho develops a partnership alongside those two

We have a good run of league games (barring Spuds) were we should be picking up a decent amount of points..hopefully

we should as you say but it's games like wba where we keep tripping up,something we need to sort out re:consistency and mentality, unless it was the fact sturridge was not fit but he's already shown how key he is now

An excellent win but we need to put it into perspective when looking at who we were playing and the changes they'd made as they had one eye on more important matters.

5 goals to nothing is an excellent result nonetheless, but the pain of Oldham, West Brom and Zenit last week is still far to recent in my memory to let go and go all gushy as I have no doubt, it will all come crashing down around us anytime soon as yet another wheel falls off the Brendan Rogers Red Wagon of Doom

In all seriousness its more ridiculous to say I told you so after yesterdays result as it is for others to write Rogers off after 8 months.

Great performance, couldn't give a **** it was a second string side, it's not like the media cut us a break when we field a second string side and lose.

You make a good point about the media too. We beat a team convincingly and it's all because the other team fielded an understrength team and were ****, nothing to do with how well we played.

Case in point, Swansea beat us 3-1 at Anfield (CC) when we had a weakend side and if the media mentioned the fact we had our second string playing I must have missed it. **** 'em.

Whenever ANYONE else beats a team resting players, it's "a squad game" but when we do it - "LIVERPOOL BEAT **** RESERVE *******S SO NOBODY CARES".
