Liverpool fan Frank the Tank on the injured Pepe Reina: "hope the **** Pepe is back next week because if he's not then we'll be ****ed over by Southampton. Fair play to Brad JOnes on making it as a professional footballer. The current England manager ****ed us all in the ass by signing a guy who is a xxxxxxx. Middlesbrough fans are still laughing at us."

He said, it wasn't just because it was Spurs, there was just a slickness and quickness to the finish, it just had to be applauded.

Our first goal was brilliant. Good take by Downing too. Not a great performance but a great result. Reckon the ones slating us for playing well and losing will now focus on us playing poorly rather than the 3 points. A few on here will probably disappear for a few days now seen as though we won. Great result. Looking forward to the future under Brendan

Sturridge coming back from a period out. He always offered an outlet though. Johnson was wasteful in posession again and poor defensively too. It was on a par with his performance against WBA

Wasn't for Johnson we'd be 3-1 down and out of the game...
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Dembele and other Spurs players seemed to be targetting Luis and trying to get him sent off - luckily he didn't rise to it. Dembele was throwing himself at him and virtually banging his head on Lui's hand every time he tried to calm him down.

Not as bad as Rio with Torres though- what a clasless prat.

Superb. Nice to win from a couple of mistakes in a way as it has been our mistakes that have undone us this season. Bit ironic that it was Walker who made the mistake for the second goal: he shouldn't have still been on the pitch anyway - wasn't it him that pulled Coutinho over from Suarez' cross first half to prevent a tap in? 1-0 up, a player sent off for Spurs and the potential for us to get a second from the spot and it would have been a massively different game.

I'm really intrigued to see how Rodgers is going to incorporate Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge into the same team without losing control of the midfield. I'm sure he'll do it though. Starting to love the guy and the way he's got us playing. Over the moon with the spirit of the team today.
