I'm not confident about this at all to be honest....

A week ago, looking at the Southampton and Villa games, i was expecting us to beat Saints and then lose to Villa......

Any away game after an international break is going to be tricky. Brendan Rodgers probably has about 6 players on the training pitch for the next 2 weeks that will potentially start the game. Paul Lambert on the other hand probably has 9 of his first 11..... those 2 weeks will be instrumental for him and also the fact that they have won their last 2 games, are building a bit of momentum and will have the home crowd behind them - all points to tricky times for me to be honest.....

Our next 3 games of Villa (a), West Ham (h) and Reading (a)....if we get 7 points from those 3 games, then it will be a good return.....

        Nailed on

They've started to show a little bit of fight, we don't like it up us.

Aye it will be a test all right but all this talk of Rodgers not being here is tosh. FSG are after momentum and Rodgers deserves the chance to bring in his remaining pieces of the jigsaw. After then we can judge him appropriately.

Another season at least to see if real progress is being made or not!

To be honest, as much as we hoped it wouldn't be, the game against Southampton was always going to be the brakes in our stop/start juggernaut. We get those every few good runs. Hopefully now the foot's back on the accelerator. We owe Villa a thrashing.

I'd like to think that bringing Henderson back into the side will inject some energy into midfield. I'd consider dropping Johnson but I haven't a clue who'd replace him.

Taking into account Villa are fighting for their lives, BR is fighting for his job, half the squad are fighting for their place it should be some fight. It could definitely go either way and there may even be a result one way or another.

                          We definitely might win.

Yep, thats how I feel. With us it will either be handing out a tonking or throwing it away like we did on Saturday.

Do people really think BR is fighting for his job? I'm not a complete fan but changing manager now would seem like madness.

It would be, and only an utter capitualtion between now and the end of the season would put him at any kind of risk.

This time next season would be the time to assess how his team has developed and if he is going to make this work.
