I think it depends on who is available in the summer. I want Rodgers to get at least another season but I wouldn't be upset if we replaced him with someone like Ancelotti.

If we sack him then it must be a top class manager replacing him.

The reason to why I mention Ancelotti is that we have been linked with a lot of PSG players the last couple of months and Ancelotti was linked to us only weeks earlier.

Rodgers is the only manager to work for FSG who they have actually wanted in the job.

There is more chance he'll sign a contract extension by end of next season than be gone.

Lets look at the recent facts:

3rd best team in league since Jan 1st;
Scored most goals in league since Jan 1st.

So i guess this tells us that when backed, Rodgers can deliver.

Again, i stress that this should not gloss over the obvious issues with the side, both defensively and mentally, but it's obvious progress is being made.

Do you Believe they are searching for one now? or will actively approach one in the Summer?

If they didn't want him or believe in him they would have stuck to there original plan of bringing in a Manager and a DOF type.

I believe they have bought into him fully imo, And nothing is showing otherwise......

Firstly, there will be very few top managers available next summer and way more top clubs, that can pay big time money, looking to acquire their services.

And secondly, I cannot see FSG even looking to replace him but I can see them looking to bring Director of Football which is what they failed to institute last year.

It'll be interesting to see what selection changes are made. Other than Lucas (who gets some leeway any way due to injury recovery time) I think there remain a lot of question marks over the defensive areas of the team.
