Redreet I think it was me that stated Johnson looked better with Downing. And on hindsight dropping Lucas could be worse for us than dropping Downing. Either way I'd like to see Sturridge start.
    One tit for another.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was a great win coming from behind and at least we were slightly more tight at the back, still think we need glen do more defensively and help out!! Hendo deserves massive praise as he was everywhere and we needed that extra man in midfield away from home!!

Henderson's goal was so good. I think it started from a Gerrard pass which was just as good as Coutinho's to be honest. All round excellence which was helped in no small part to Villa's **** defending but it takes nothing away from 3 pieces of lovely footballing skill.

            Henderson's finish was sublime.

After the Stoke debacle I thought certain Henderson would fluff his lines. I was surprised and relieved when finished in style.

              Henderson: Goal Machine, who knew?

Both passes were unreal but credit to hendo for the run and finish as he missed a few one on ones early doors, he gives us so much when he plays in terms of work ethic...

It was a very classy finish.

He does this season. To be honest I really think he's benefited from his time out of the side and the limelight, that fee and the number of games he had to play last season did him no favours at all. I still think he has work to do to be considered a genuine first teamer in future seasons, but it is impossible not to be impressed with the way he has been performing of late, especially in terms of commitment and work rate.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                    Mine angry and defrauded young?

Totally agree, he needed time out and tbf to Rodgers I think the way he's handled a few of the lads has been right and he's got a reaction, also hendo was over played and not in his favoured position, I think he gives us a good balance along side an ageing Stevie and a Lucas getting back to full fitness, it's a better balance...
