Redreet I think it was me that stated Johnson looked better with Downing. And on hindsight dropping Lucas could be worse for us than dropping Downing. Either way I'd like to see Sturridge start.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Henderson's finish was sublime.

Both passes were unreal but credit to hendo for the run and finish as he missed a few one on ones early doors, he gives us so much when he plays in terms of work ethic...Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostHenderson's goal was so good. He does this season. To be honest I really think he's benefited from his time out of the side and the limelight, that fee and the number of games he had to play last season did him no favours at all. I still think he has work to do to be considered a genuine first teamer in future seasons, but it is impossible not to be impressed with the way he has been performing of late, especially in terms of commitment and work rate.Originally posted by Marclfc View PostBoth passes were unreal but credit to hendo for the run and finish as he missed a few one on ones early doors, he gives us so much when he plays in terms of work ethic...I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Totally agree, he needed time out and tbf to Rodgers I think the way he's handled a few of the lads has been right and he's got a reaction, also hendo was over played and not in his favoured position, I think he gives us a good balance along side an ageing Stevie and a Lucas getting back to full fitness, it's a better balance...Originally posted by MrMichael View PostHe does this season.
