Thanjk you.

Forgetting the manner of Pepe's exit. Do you think it's the right decision to bring this guy in instead?
Time will tell. I don't know enough about Mignolet. Largely stopped watching ****e Premier League teams/games. Definitely fair to say Reina didn't justify his whopping salary over the last 3 seasons or so - although funnily enough I thought his form over the 2nd half of last season was as good as it's been since Rafa left.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
No, not as as long as we don't sign up a better goalkeeping coach. When keeper after keeper don't improve and instead get worse then the keeper isn't the problem IMO.

could this have been because he thought there was a chance of a Barca move though
i loved reina, great keeper and a real shame to see him moving on (even if just on loan, i doubt he'll be back)
however he's been linked with moves away for a number of years now so i applaud the club the for identifying a possible replacement and making the move instead of sitting on our hands
i'd rather do what we have done, than keeping reina for another year, missing out on Mignolet, and then next summer reina wants out (again) and we are scratching our arses trying to find a keeper
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Only have to look at the issues we are having at signing top quality players at the moment. I would have preferred Begovic but Mignolet is a very good shot stopper and young with time to develop into an even better keeper. Right outcome in the end for me
I think it was the right thing to do, clearly he was marked as a target and although Pepe was still here the long term benefit of getting him now will hopefully pay off.
Hasn't been tested at all yet. Couple of decent saves, although he's mostly had to deal with shots down his throat with the level of opponent we've had in preseason.
Time will tell..........concentration for a keeper is of vital importance, and, with respect, it's not something that was really tested where he was. At Liverpool, he's gonna see less goalmouth action, and he's gonna have to show how he can handle being called upon when needed, the way Pepe was in previous seasons.

I was impressed with the way he came for crosses and the way he held onto those awkward drilled shots that bounced just in front of him. Looks really positive so far.

I know it was only one game but his save yesterday was really good and that was after a period of inactivity.
And with respect, we're not exactly water tight at the back.
True, but he'll be making far, far less saves for us than at Sunderland. There's no comparison.
Off the top of my head, Mig had to make a save every 21-22 mins compared to Pepe's 38-40mins, meaning he ended up with twice the amount of saves over the season.
Sounds good, put like that, but there is a reason how that came about.

We can only assess once he starts playing a meaningful number of games. I think he'll be good.
