We need better. If there was a £50m option that would guarantee fix that spot I'd be pleased with us spending that dosh. Can't think of anyone available that fits the bill off the top of my head though so it might be another punt on potential. None taken Norbs (glad you abbreviated the name btw - I remember when it was much longer). I don't entirely agree with you on our appeal against that of Spurs but it's a moot point as I did say I couldn't see Loris happening. What we really need is for JK to pull a blinding German goalie out of the hat. I really think this is the key signing for us as a consistently good keeper would help the defence so much. I looked through the final standings of the PL and Spurs have finished above us in 6 of the last 7 seasons. If they keep Poch I think they'll mount a serious challenge next season.
As for a keeper, I guess that was what he was doing bringing in Karius. Can't see him buying another keeper this summerComment

I think Mignolet can improve and indeed has.
He's shown clear improvement in the command of his area and the length and accuracy of his kicking, plus he doesn't dawdle as much on the ball. Oh and those Cruyff turns haha!
If players wouldn't launch suicidal balls into the area of actually defended the box properly, I doubt we'd be having many of these conversations.

i think we should look for a player with better distribution. A Reina type would allow us to hit on the break a bit more, which would vary our attack a bit.
