The De-rafalution is almost complete then - only Agger and Lucas left

          And Johnson and Skrtel.

But it's true that it finally feels like a new era, a new squad. Even while Hodgson and Kenny were here, our best players (bar Suarez) were all Rafa players. It's good to leave that behind and start anew.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                Oh yeah, forgot about them

Didn't really think of it as a new era, (was just a wind-up joke :P), but it's quite true when thinking about it. Seems like most have finally moved on (bar 1 or 2 fans, none mentioned, none forgotten) and we are all moving in the same direction. More a mentality thing than the players really

And have to say that I'm really liking this new era, so far it seems very positive in playing style, the way we get transfers done and the type of players we are signing.

Oh and won't take long before Skrtel is away I reckon.

I wonder if he'll bully Brad out of the number one shirt?

problem is, IMO, he's just too good to be no.2 choice. he must become immediately no.1 or else he'll stagnate.

I was sceptical about Rodgers but I can't fault him too much, signings look good this summer and january as well. Also it's refreshing that we are buying talented players, maybe our last three managers had a tendency to overlook talent, like touch and technique.

If Skrtel and Downing leave we could possibly field a whole team of players who are comfortable on the ball.

                        A team like

                        Reina/Mig - Johnson - Toure - Agger - Enrique - Lucas - Gerrard - Coutinho - Alberto - Sturridge - Ryan/Deleufo

compares very favourably to the hard workers/tactical/**** players we've had since Rafa's heights.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

If Reina's off, makes sense. If Reina isn't off, other areas of the team clearly require strengthening first. Would have prefered Begovic but he's good enough from the little I've seen.

Welcome Simon. At last a keeper who has the ability to stop a shot on goal. Looking forward to him being our new No. 1

Enjoy it while it lasts, all goes downhill form here when we start selling Suarez, Pepe, Agger, Johnson etc.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
