I thought he was excellent in readjusting to stop the deflected shot with his foot and the last ditch tackle on Costa was fabulous too. Other than that had bugger all to do over 2.5 hours

Yeah I've been a big critic of him...thought he was much better....his kicking is still ****ing embarrassing but he was more composed in the box and made a couple decent saves

I thought he was much, much better today than he as been for a while, one of his best performances for us IMO

Once again confidence plays a part. He's a bloody good keeper when he plays like this.

Some top class saves. Seems he to be at his best when doing the instinctive things but at his worst when he has to think about things.

He's had a couple of good games now. Defence as a whole has been much better until the brain fart for the goal but that was a striker who shouldn't be on the pitch let alone tasked with marking. Hope Mig keeps it up and Sakho's loss doesn't hurt us too much.

Superb tonight. That tackle with his feet one on one was class keeping, his speed in coming off his line, not just tonight has been really impressive and it seems his confidence is slowly returning. Good for him

Class performance tonight, deserves all the credit he gets

Been much better since the break out of the team. Still totally imperfect, but getting better and that's all we can ask.

Certainly stepped up to the plate tonight and hope it gives him the confidence going forward.

He's fine but he just can't kick a ball. The pass from the left that he allows across his body, slices them every time. Ridiculous. Time and again gave it straight back to Chelsea.

Brilliant shot stopper as he showed tonight, more signs of improvement and a huge step in the right direction. Kicking still leaves a lot to be desired but it's hard to be too critical of his performances of late

He's the best keeper we currently have and that's all that can be said really. He's nowhere near good enough, but until we sign someone better then keep him in there.

I tried to big him up recently in this thread and highlight some positive signs, but to be honest I didn't really convince myself. Fair play to him though, I didn't think he had a performance like last night in him, it was definitely one of his best for us.

Great performance last night. I think Rodgers has given up on the kicking aspect, and just told him to lump it down the field if a short option isn't on. His game is now focused on his strengths.
