It's weird. I can't remember another manager who reversed as many alarming slumps in form as Brendan. A player used to hit a **** streak and it seemed they were on an inexorable path to Stoke or a **** team in La Liga.

He's done really well in taking players out of the team and them coming back with a vengeance, but it's hard to shake the feeling that at least with some of the personnel and also formation changes, Brendan's hand has been forced and it's paid off.

I feel bad about that still. I think I said after the United game he should go. It was a low. But oddly enough it was that game where it all started to turn around. I thought we had too many issues to fix for him to be able to turn it round, but he's making an incredibly good fist of it. A way to go yet but this is great. Unless we fall away badly I certainly want him to stay for the summer, next season and beyond. Loving his work.

I feel confident with him in goal now.

He really is keeping things simple, and it's been a boss turnaround for the lad. We still need to bring in another keeper to compete and possibly dislodge Mignolet.

It's quite a turnaround, every set piece/cross was terrifying only months ago, now I expect him to come and claim or punch away every time. And he's looking to get people away early on the counter if possible aswell.

The Matt Ryan shout is a great one, someone with high potential who doesnt have the reputation to come in and just be number 1 straight away but if Mig's level dipped then he can go in.

Unfortunately, that's one of the reasons why the lad has made a career for himself at various clubs. He is one of the perpetual myths in modern European football. He just isn't up to what we need on a consistent basis, and a tap-in and the odd 7/10 sub appearance isn't going to change that.

We are and should be actively looking to replace him in the summer.

Kudos to him. He is obviously made of stronger stuff mentally than what we all thought. This could be the making of him and hopefully help him transition from a very good goalkeeper to a world class one.

He's been excellent recently.. Kicking is still an issue but it's been quite a resurgence

Ryan won't come to play second fiddle or understudy. He's a pretty key figure in the best Belgian side and it'd be silly to give that up for less playing time.

Deserves credit for turning it around, a lot of keepers would never have bounced back from the place he was at. I still don't like all the punching though, but that's because I grew up watching goalies flattening everyone to catch the ball.

I think he's been great since coming back, the punching doesn't worry me in the slightest Reina punched pretty much everything that came across the box rather than catching the important thing is keeping the ball out of our net!

As a general rule, when out of possession he's been fantastic.

But his kicking is atrocious. Every time it's passed back to him he hoofs it up and pretty much every time goes straight to the opposition or sliced out of play. I'd rather he did this than risk anything tbh, but I feel like this is his final challenge if he wants to be number one at this club.

His kicking isn't brilliant but until or if it improves we need to limit the amount it's called upon a few times last night there were pass backs to him which were just not needed.
