You mean the save from Elia to put it just past the post?

I have 2 hours of sleep to look forward to but that was well worth watching.

Can't wait for the City game! Hopefully Sakho will be back for that.

Southampton conceded, Chelsea conceded, how does this leave the golden gloves?

We need to hire Steve Clarke. And/or Tony Pulis.

10 clean sheets 2 behind Forster.

There's nothing more to add to what has already been said about his shot-stopping, but what I did notice today was him looking for the quick counter. That pinged ball from his hands to Ibe in the first half was a better touch away from being a chance on goal.

                Probably.

I read he has 9, Foster has 10 and Forster has 12.

Great improvement from him but for me the worrying part about all this is that Kenneth was the voice of reason in the dark times

                      This.

Another decent game from him today.......think he got a bit lucky with the handball, but it was the right call to come out, which is the main thing. Good hands today, held onto most things, long may it continue.

The ball hit his chest first and his arm after. It could be argued he would have been unlucky to get fingered for handball. He got the benifit of the doubt. Good for him

At the end of the day he was exactly where he should have been and not standing in no-mans land waiting to get lobbed

As I said, I think the fact he was so steadfast to deal with the situation is the important thing, but I do think he got somewhat lucky with the handball regardless of where it hit first........the keeper is in ownership of dealing with a situation where he is he person deemed 'most in possession', it's not like the ball was fired at him from close range and he saves it with his chest and then flicks against his hand. There was a slight misjudgment which led to him touching the ball with his hand outside of the area - but great, we weren't penalized......on another day we might be.

I'd have no qualms in him coming for the ball in the same manner though, after all, being rooted to his line was one of his failings in his time here.

If we're looking at alternatives, Adrian at West Ham looks pretty good.

As long we get someone to compete with Mignolet, and the latter remains focused on keeping his game simple, he can stay. His turnaround has been amazing, and I really wanted us to sell him. His kicking needs serious work, but everything else has been much improved.
