He's a bit right though, negative or not. We need better if we are to take the next step as a team. I'm probably in the minority but I feel as though GK has to be our No 1 priority position to strengthen this summer. We will never see how good our defence can be while they are always made nervous by an unsettled keeper and keeping the ball out of our net is more of a problem for us than putting it in the oppositions.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

He is indeed right. Pleased for us (& Mig) he's picked up again but we've seen this before. He's not the solution.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I'm with you. Getting a dominant keeper with a big personality is a must. I'd throw our entire resources at it. Keepers need to be cocky and if they make a mistake they brush it off whereas mig has ability but he's a shrinking Violet. He's gets flustered and it rubs off on the team. The best realistic target is Schmeichel possibly.

We were linked with Mandanda from Crystal Palace last week.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was our back-up No.2, and Karius stepped up as our No.1 next year. Maybe if there's another experienced goalkeeper around who could deputise.

I think Klopp's going to spend big on a CB, CM, and attacking areas.

I'm not intentionally trying to be negative although I am in general, I'm just saying how it is dude. He's cack, he always has been and always will be. I'd much prefer if the club blew the bulk of the transfer war chest on a top top quality goalkeeper as you can't trust Mignolet. He's more frightening to watch than a Poltergeist.

He is a poor in every single possible way, all the things you want and expect from a keeper - he fails to deliver.

He's ****e, I really hope next season we get better in otherwise we're just going to be in the exact same position as we are now.

Would like to add that the piss poor defence in front aren't helping Mignolet either but then again he doesn't help himself.
LOL. At this rate, you'll be topping yourself off as I don't think Klopp is going to replace him next season.

Let's just say that I'll be very surprised.
                Are we winning?

Mignolet has been like this throughout his time with us, good patches and bad patches, he's in a good patch at the moment, but there will be a dip in form. If he could play at this level constantly we wouldn't have a problem, but he doesn't, which is why we need someone who can, that's the honest truth of it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Any keeper of better quality than Mignolet will cost around £25m-£30m, unless it's an up and coming youngster like Karius, so I'll be highly surprised if we sign a keeper next season. We have other more important areas to strengthen and keeper is the least of our concerns.

There are other priorities but it is still a position we need to address. Last summer Mignolet wasn't good enough so we bought Karius, IMO Mignolet hasn't improved on last season, he's only first choice because Karius is worse. We are still in the position we were last summer in regards to a GK.

I think that's the bit we disagree on. I can't see anything making a bigger impact on us as a team than replacing Mig with a top quality keeper. As mentioned above I'd be happy to blow a significant chunk of our budget to nail that problem once and for all. I'm just not sure who is available and fits the bill.

We must sort the keeper situation out asap. It has to be one of the priority positions we need to address. This has been going on for way too long, the position needs to be nailed down. Mig can have a one or two good games and then the inevitable calamity happens, as sure as the sun will rise and water is wet.

Honestly though I don't think it's a position we will address unfortunately.

Mignolet will be the clubs No.1 Keeper next season

I don't think we can sort the defensive situation out without a new goalie. It's as simple as that really.
