Exactly! From the bits I saw we took a bit of a thrumping out there. Fulham had a couple of forwards who looked like proper grown men, like when your gym teacher at school had had a row with his wife and decided to wade in to your football game and give everyone a good pasting.

Watched the second half, and the kids didn't look too bad. Had most of the play but couldn't really find the last pass. What I like is how comfortable many of them look with the ball. Very little panicking, they keep control and find the pass/space. They look like footballers.

That's good to know, I only got to see snatches of the second half. I've seen a bit of them this season and I agree, they're trying to play the Rodger's way which bodes well for any of them moving up into the first team.

If people want to compare who he may end up playing like it's Joe Allen.

By that what I mean is he hasn't got any (real) pace, he's tenacious but see's pictures well ahead of others and plays at his best when he plays 1 and 2 touch continuity football.
He reminds me a lot more of Roy Keane than anyone else.

It’s a shame Ibe didn’t develop more as a CF when playing there last year. I do still think he can make it as a winger and do expect him to make more of a breakthrough next year, but I think he could have got more chances if he could cover centrally too. He has the build for a CF and could have been good cover for Sturridge if good enough.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Ibe - Tee rated him better than Sterling. He has the potential to be.
Rossiter - composed player, don't need Will Hughes
Suso - seen a few Almeria games, he's always on the left and doesn't seem to do too much. The fans like(d) him. Had a stormer against Barca though. Lack of pace may be his ultimate undoing with us
Chirivella - 4 foot nothing who I immediately wrote off. But after a few games he's changed my mind. One to watch
Canos - Not played enough, nothing outstanding
Teixeira - Coutinho mould, likes to dictate games. He should be a squad regular next season (if not loaned out)
Wilson - He's left, right? Edit: oh Harry Wilson. Star in the making, got high hopes for him!
Sinclair - Good striker, eye for goal. Not sure he'll make it with us though
McLaughlin - Gone a bit quiet, needs to keep the momentum going as he's our true Cafu
Ilori - Needs much more time, one more season on loan minimum

Rossiter just turned 17 labelling anyone as Championship level at that age is a bit posts like this are completely absurd anyway, it's impossible to tell at this age and we've been wrong probably 90% of the times.

Mark Wright talking about Conor Coady's maturing process whilst on loan to Sheffield. This process is aided by being kicked up the arse all match long.

Actually he stops there so that might be the whole process.

Norwich won the FA Youth Team cup last year with the aid of the "Murphy Twins" but only one plays tonight.

and I'm putting £20 on Neil Mellor approving of our physio's method of using the old fashioned "thumbs up" instead of a headset and mic.

early free kick to Norwich just outside our box to the right, Lloyd-Jones the upender but's it floats aimlessly over everyone to go out for a goal kick.
