I would like to see them change the name from Liverpool Ladies to Liverpool WFC. And well done to them, totally deserved and played well in the bits I watched yesterday.

Liverpool ladies aren't my team, they're associate with my team and share a name but they're not the team I support. Well done to them, and I'd rather they won than lost, but apart from that I'm not really arsed. Why should I be?

I don't care if you are interested or not. If you aren't interested then you shouldn't post anything that don't respect what they did.

It is fine saying that you aren't interested but it isn't fine to post posts making fun or what they did as already been pointed out.

How is the Ladies team run in terms of CEO, budget etc?

I'm not clued up in terms of the finances involved.

Don't know any figures only that FSG spent enough money to sign an almost whole new squad.

They have their own CEO, marketing team etc.

Shows how serious they take it. The next step is of course to win the women's version of the CL.

I think they are prepared to do that. To challenge teams like Lyon, PSG, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich, Malmo and Tyreso.

I wonder if the trophy will be put in the museum. It would actually be a nice touch, and score some PC points. Afterball it's LFC winning something, even if most people don' t care.

They should also parade the trophy at Anfield before our next home game.

They're as relevant to me as that motor racing team a few years ago.

There seems to be a bit of a split - as usual.

Not everyone is interested in the same threads - across the whole forum.
Some posters in here post the most inane drivel on an hourly basis, some like it others don't.

But this thread is related to Liverpool FC, enough to make headlines.

But do not just post to pull it down - simply ignore the thread.

If you're not arsed about it, why come in to stir things up? Bit weird really.

My wife & I took my daughter & niece yesterday - myself & my little girl have been watching them all season & we thought it'd be great to see them win the title

I don't want to take her to Anfield just yet - don't think I want her submitted to the bad language (stemming mostly from me!) & general abuse

Don't want to get into any sexism debate but I think a lot of you should maybe take a look at them on TV next season - you'l be pleasantly surprised at the quality on show

I know women's football used to be a bit of a joke but it's come a very long way - so refreshing to see a game played without any theatrics or diving & these girls are 100% committed - no shirking tackles/headers or play acting like we see in the mens game - we had a great time & was great to enjoy the title winning celebrations
