    Aston Villa (Away) on Saturday

I know it's only Tuesday, but I think we need to take our minds of the transfer saga for a while, at least I'm getting sick of it.

What do you think our line-up will be? If Skrtel's fit then I think we might see his return to the bench, otherwise I can see us playing a similar team to last week's - Henderson keeping his place because he played well and because Aston Villa seem to have a very physical midfield, which they showed against Arsenal when they clattered Wilshere around (strangely without getting disciplined by the ref, who was imo ****). Maybe even Cissokho on the bench, any other potential future signings will probably be too late though.

Last year's 1-3 home defeat was pretty embarrasing, but if Agger gets his **** together and we can contain Benteke, than I think it's an easy win. They added a few anonymous players to their team, Luna who scored against Arsenal and some Helenius dude, otherwise it's still the same crappy Aston Villa...

I would design a formation here, but it would just be a copy of the one vs. Stoke, so... COME ON

I think it will line up very much as you were. Doubt we will change a winning side, especially as we dont have any games to worry about resting players for.

Looking forward to this. 3 more points would be nice.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Villa tougher side this year.. think last season was step too soon for their youngsters but they have some good players coming through.

Also interesting to see how our CB's deal with a big & physically strong CF... as we struggled several times last season with that.

Should start with Lamela and Willian

There will be goals in it for us, just need to keep things tight at the back.

Johnson and Enrique should be able to cope with the pace of Agbonlahor and Weimann and hopefully Toure and Agger can handle Benteke. Lucas will also be in much better shape than when we played last time.

                We'll stuff them.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

They'll attack since they're at home which will leave gaps at the back for us to exploit, this won't be like the Stoke game.

They're set up for counterattack and we're set up for possession. The question is how much being at home will encourage them to change their natural style.

Much will depend on who scores first I think, as at Anfield. Then again going behind against Arsenal didn't impede them much.

Doesn't count for much come next Saturday, but that is the last 16 results at Villa Park. 1 defeat in 16.

As I said, we'll stuff them.

This game will be a big test for Lucas and the two CBs. Betenke, Weimann and Agbonlahor are very mobile and the first of those three also a solid hold up player with aerial ability.

Will be interesting to see if we make any changes. I'd stick with Henderson to try to pressurize them as much as possible in deep areas.
