Nah - Villa just got their **** together in the second half and started actually pressing us. The first 45 minutes they just didn't show up. We should have pushed them more in the first half but I think Brendan was being very (perhaps over) cautious due to how dangerous they've been on the counter in their previous games.

Pretty brave move to defend a 1-0 lead second half, but credit to the lads for playing the game out. Six points is a dream start as both games were tricky. I think the fitness levels are still building and we don't want people peaking now and then fading later in the season. IT's great to be watching football again because it's real again and not "on paper". If we get something next week we really have something to build on. After all, winning teams tend to keep winning
