Also, thanks Mostar, I've noticed you post a lot of videos and you work tirelessly to keep us all updated on our players out on loan.
there is only so much progress to be made playing in the reserves so once the young lads reach a certain level we need to see how they cope at a higher more competitive level toughing it out with beefier players.

In recent years the use of the loan system by big teams across Europe seems to have changed. Chelsea obviously being the foremost example.Originally posted by RedRum View PostI've never seen a manager send so many players on loan as much as Rodgers. I hope that we keep using it more as we are now - with a genuine eye to getting young players into our first team."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Just been speaking to a work mate who is a Leicester fan. Was explaining to him the best form of survival is to get in the loan deals early. Liverpool is currently awash with youngsters waiting to impress any team (Wisdom, Texeira, McLaughlin, Ibe, Coady even).
Leicester would be an ideal team for taking mutual advantage of this scheme. Specially under Nigel Pearson.
Edit: Forgot Suso will be back next season too. Could give him one more year on loan but this time in the premiership. One tit for another.

the pace of the games seems very easy going. not enough to test him really.
if we intend to play these lads in our team then maybe we should look to loan them out in this country were they will encounter a more physical frantic game or they will come back and still have to adapt to the pace

He does come across as a ball playing defender, but his heading technique is strange.
Real Betis are near the bottom of the table, so it's not surprising he wasn't involved in too many defensive phases of the game. He'll face sterner tests, and he should come back in the summer all the better for it.

Comment from Youtube:
Is anybody else thinking Llori(sic) could be the answer to Liverpool's midfield problems? He looks like a young Matic only much quicker. I think Llori(sic) has all the skills to play (as a) deep holding midfielder and add that pace Liverpool lack with Lucas, Allen and Gerrard being a little slow. Rodgers found a gem that looks like he could fill in anywhere in defense and midfield. Was muß, das muß.
