I'd be happy with 13 points from that run. 4 wins, a draw vs Everton or Arsenal and a possible defeat against the other would be acceptable imo.The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.Comment

12 points minimum from those games if we want that 4th place (at least). If we can beat Everton then it's really on. If we beat Arsenal (and win the other 5 matches) then the title is on!Was muComment

We need to take points from the teams around usThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

Arsenals next 6 games are:
Fulham, Southampton, Palace, LFC, Man United, Sunderland.....
After the Manc game, they have Munich in the CL. If we can breat Arsenal at home, then I reckon that could be the start of a wobble for them.... just after the 2nd Munich game, they then have a run of games of Spurs (a), Chelsea (A), City (h) and Everton (a). It might actually work in our favour if Arsenal put out Munich as they would have a couple of CL games thrown in there as well but if you ask me, thats when they will go tits-up and end up fighting for 4th position as opposed to the title....
City have Tottenham and Chelsea in sucession coming up soon. To be honest, i can't see them dropping points any time soon though - look like they are hitting form at the right time. I just hope the Barca games take it out of 'em but to be honest, before and after these games they have piss-easy matches..... the likes of Sunderland and Stoke at home . They do have Tottenham, United, Arsenal, us and Everton all away from home to play though.
Chelsea have City and Us away - their run in apart from that includes Arsenal at home. But I expect Arsenal to be on the ropes by then to be honest. Apart from that, Chelseas run-in looks a piece of piss.
Its going to be a great season. I would love it if we won. Love it.Comment

in reality, we can win ANY game. Putting a run of 6 wins in a row though (or 8 if you consider we've won our last 2) is potentially very tricky though.
I genuinely think we can do it though - in reality we have shown that we bounce back after a bad result / performance. For the last couple of seasons, a result like the game away to Hull would have knocked us onto the ropes and we'd have followed it up with a crappie draw or another defeat. This season, we followed it up with some outstanding performances and a brilliant run of games that was only halted by a dodgy Lee Mason at the Etihad and a dodgy Howard Webb at Stamford Bridge. (still gutted about both of these games)
This thread is about the next 6 games but in reality, if you look at the next 11 games, then if we set ourselves up well in them, it will leave us with a final 6 games of the season where we play City and Chelsea at home - as well as Newcastle. Plus Palace, Norwich and West Ham away.
Injuries will play a big part in the rest of the season. If we win against Everton and Arsenal at home, then I'd be happy enough to jack in the FA Cup and really go for it....Comment

It is certainly doable but it's going to be far from easy, personally I'd expect and be happy with a return of say 13 points as we've a small squad and expecting peak performances from all each match is a big ask when they'll be little to no chance of rotating players to keep them fresh.
We need some luck with injuries over the run in to the end of the season but I think we will be there or there abouts for the top 4 which IMO is the aim for the seasonComment
