I remember an interview with him at the start of the season where he said that him and his wife were so happy in England in every sense that he could not invisage moving back to spain for a long time so the homesick thing doesn't really add up to me.

I like him as a keeper, despite some flaws, and I'd be dissapointed if he left. There aren't many decent young keepers knocking about who have as much mental toughness as he has.

I wouldn't mind. I don't rate him too highly and the money would help strenghten other areas.

Carson Definitely aint good enough IMHO. He's not even as good as the dude. He may be playing reasonbly well where there is no expectation but I doubt he'd cut it week in and week out for us.

Carson Definitely aint good enough IMHO. He's not even as good as the dude. He may be playing reasonbly well where there is no expectation but I doubt he'd cut it week in and week out for us.

you see that is where i disagree wid ya mate, i think Carson is better than Reina..when he played that game against Juve at Anfield he was immense..he does not fumble the ball as much as Reina and he has that physical presence about him that says GK all over..REINA is too small to be a keeper, he does not command his six yard box like keepers should..Arsenals 1st goal was partly his fault..he should have been more aggressive in collecting that low cross from Fabregas.

I'm not sure why I agree but I do. I think he has all the potential to become one of the very best. We'd regret selling him in the long run IMHO. He's had a few dodgy moments this season but he has shown that he has the character to block it out and we're starting to see signs of improvement.

What about Carsons fumble in that game that led to the Juve goal? Every keepr does it from time to time and I honestly don't think we've had a better keeper than Pepe Since Brucie left.

I like the way he acts as a sweeper for us and when ever Carson has been called upon to do the same he's been left wanting IMHO.

we gotta look at it as a whole package..yes Reina does all them things you mentioned but at the end of the day his job is not only that..we'll see how Carson's situation is gonna develop at CFC. I'd like to retain him instead of keeping Dudek.

Is this not just taken from a lazy arsed Mirror artical which said that Reina's contract was up this year, which was incorrect because they confused Reina's contract expiery with Dudek's.
