Is Ibe available? If he is playing well in the reserves at the moment, why not cast him in the RWB role for the match against the barcodes? IMO better than sterling in that position in terms of the attributes, sure not as much pace as sterls, but heck he does have some meat on him and certainly has the stamina and skill sit to attack and defend

i quite the look of that - tough leaving agger out, but the other three deserve their place, and move gerrard further forward to get involved in the attack more - henderson can gives the legs in midfield, and lucas plays the holding role

width from Johnson (hopefully fit enough to start) and enrique who should be up for it going back to his old club.

Also means that we'd have a few options on the bench

That team would stuff Newcastle, but I think he would switch Gerrard and Henderson. We've played good counter attacking football with Moses, SAS up top, so I think Rodgers would want to keep a pacey No. 10 who has the legs to get back.

Be really nice to see Johnson back and I'd like to see what Cissokho can do for us, at the very least he puts some pressure on Enrique for out left side.

Fancy we might see this tomorrow, harsh on Henderson tbh but feel that's got a good balance as a side.
