Carragher must be ****in gutted he retired...... Had he not we could have been champs by now.......

Really hope that after the Newcastle game we are not cursing PHil MAson for ****ing us at the ethiad, or Howard cunt face Webb for Stamford bridge.....or kolo for the 2 points he pissed away at WBA.....

I reckon we should have about 2 points extra in the bag by now.....but Chelsea and Manc city should have 2 less each...

Not sure you can compare them but we have never won a title in PL era and it's a trophy, a holy grail if you will, we have been waiting for so long.

Winning one sooner rather than later to me would make up for all those league disappointments that we have experienced over last 20+ years.

That is just a spine tingling thought and would simply complete me as a Liverpool fan.
          For us oldies

Will be the clubs greatest achievement Imo.

With the resources and the depth of squads the teams around us have , it will be the best title win ever.

Thing is I don't think this is necessarily the "great chance to nick it/fluke shot at the title" some have suggested. I think we'll be challenging for the foreseeable. If not this year then next. If not next then the year after. It's now inevitable IMO.

I forgot what the question was, but regardless of the answer, this gave me goose bumps

It does make any sense to even think about a comeback against one of the tightest defences skippered by a living legend of the game. YNWA sung more in defiance than hope. A quick goal back, then another, then another and we're back on level terms only to be battered to the point that our defence is on it's last legs and our star player has to fill in as a fullback.

The deadliest striker in the world hammers a header from close range that's surely in only for Dudek to get his hands to it but presents him with an easy tap in. Somehow Dudek saves it (still no idea how he did it, after all this time) and we breath again.

Then the agony of facing penalties against some of the best penalty takers in the world, too much to ask. Jerzy's spaghetti legs on steriods heroics on the line and even a redemption for Cisse after his horror broken leg a few months earlier and somehow we pulled off the greatest final comeback of all time!

That is stuff of dreams, legends and frankly magic. And Djimi Traore.
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

I agree with Davy above. I had thought that this year had brought a set of circumstances that may not be around again. Meaning this was a unique opportunity. However the scope of our improvement has changed my mind. Yes others will spend but so will we. BR has proved that it is not just about the spend its about brave management which allows for team building in the proper manner. Allied to ruthless attacking instincts and tactical acumen. I think we will be the real force from now on whatever the rest throw at us. We will throw it straight back with interest.

That Milan starting 11 was pretty impressive : Dida, Cafu, Maldini, Stam, Nesta, Gattuso, Seedorf, Pirlo, Kaka, Shevchenko, Crespo

I think if we don't win it, we'll be 3rd- ahead of Arsenal.

We need to beat Chavs and City to win it, if we don't beat them, we'll finish behind them.
