Arsenal next, and as the script dictates littered with injuries before our game.
      One tit for another.

I don't think it's out of the question for us to get maximum points based on the way we performed away to Chelsea and City. Arsenal are suffering some significant injuries so we have a good chance.

It would still be a huge effort to do so but I think it's possible!

We're at home. I think it's there for the winning.
          Oh I don't know.

100% behind Arsenal to win it if we don't now. City are financial cheats, Chelsea are a bunch of ******s from top to bottom.

Arsenal on the other hand are coping with injuries and doing it fairly. I don't like Wenger but his boys done good

Don't like Arsenal fans. Proper arrogance. The way they shout hoof and believe they invented beautiful football

I would rather City win it. Not financial cheats. They exploit the loopholes. Their supporters a lot more bearable than Arsenal"s too

Our fans never shout hoof do they. Exploiting loopholes that shouldn't exist doesn't exonerate them from performing from an unfair position. Robbing Peter to pay Peter is cheating

Erm, while I doubt they are committing any crimes, they certainly are bending the system to suit them.

City seem to be exempt from any dislike from neutrals. Which I dont get, because they have brought this position as much as Chelsea, PSG or anyone else.

I'd much rather see a team get to the top under their own means like Arsenal, Spurs, Utd or Everton. Much more satisfaction in doing it yourself.

(This is not to say I want to see Utd win the title )
                  *Except Michael, who died.

Yep. This City lovefest is a bit strange. **** them, they're undeserved of their position at the top table. Flouting the rules to compile a squad bound of riches like never before seen and yet still only won the league on goal difference.

                    Come on Arsenal

I used to hate it but I've slowly but surely changed opinions.

                      I mean, define unfair?

Is it more unfair to spend 1b on a club + players + ground than it is to have a club worth 1.5b?

I find the whole debate a bit silly tbh.

They were rich enough to make an offer they couldn't refuse, so if they'd bought out united for 2b would that have been unfair?

Would we be happier with them owning United?

FFP is bollocks. It's not going to stop the top clubs, they'll always find loopholes.

It's to stop the oik upstarts buying their way into European spots which belong to the elite.

                      Let them go for it.

Romantic in me would still rather we build our way up than buy it, but I no longer care much what anyone else spends.

RM will blow them out of the water every single day whilst staying within FFP so it's not really a biggy, inflation will still come.

Unfair as in it could've been us instead

Jokes aside, FFP will work on the 2nd tier of wealthy teams in which I include us but the ultra wealthy won't have to adhere. What they're doing isn't illegal but it's hardto accept that its not unfair

On the face of it yeah, but as I say, when RM destroy the transfer record year in year out without blinking, and still stay in profit, how on earth can anything else be unfair?

Europe's riches come with participation in their tournaments and as of recently it's not really been of much bearing to us.

On a Premier League level I'd like to see our governing body do more to control the loopholes. We already know that UEFA and FIFA are somewhat blind to certain clubs and their self imposed rules when it suits them. Is it any coincidence that the two fastest growing clubs are Middle Eastern owned and that's where the last winning bid for hosting the World Cup has come from?

Nice idea but it'll never happen. The PL want clubs spending big it's good for the PL brand to be seen as where the money & the best players are as it drags in sponsorship and big money tv deals.
