The last fixture of the season is the day I graduate from university. If this "prophet" is right and we win the title... I'll attend my commencement ceremonies naked? I dunno. I'm going to have to figure something out.

To be fair, I think a few would get so pissed they'll end up naked and singing

There we go then......It's in the bag!
A self-confessed Manchester United fan, he however sees Liverpool bagging it this season.

“Liverpool, I am with you this year and God has shown me he is returning you to your glory days,” he said.
Ha! These prophets are soooo fickle!

I said to wait to see where we are on 1st jan. 5th not too bad considering the recent fixtures but 3 points from spurs, city and Chelsea isn't something I'd have settled for. Odd season but top 4 is the goal. Forget about a title this year.

When you put it like that it sounds bang average at best.

                    However;
                    We beat Spurs.
We almost beat City if not for a dodgy decision and a couple of errors despite key injuries.
We could have well had a couple of penalties against 10 men at Chelsea if not for the ref and still only lost by 1 despite key injuries.

2 of the hardest matches in the season, back to back, at a bad time for us injury wise, and we lost by a gnats tadger. I will settle for that.

I was ok with no points for city/chelsea on the basis we beat Spurs/Cardiff before Hull afterwards. 9 points from those 5 is decent enough.

What ever happened to the BBC League Predictor? You know the one where you could guess results and update the table? It seems to have disappeared!

Anyone know an alternate website that does the same?

Interesting stat... In 2013 we had the sixth best points total.

Had we beaten City and Chelsea, it would have been the second best total in the calendar year with one game fewer played than Aresnal and City. Fine margins.

In the same period, we were the highest scorers. I'm sure somebody said in a post match thread recently that we should be scoring more goals. A big ask.

And Suarez was the top scorer in 2013 with 29 goals despite the 10 game ban.

So yeah, we're improving all the time, but we're not quite good enough for the title on current evidence.

That might change. And it might not.
                            Oh I don't know.

we are only where we are because of suarez. we need more contribution for around the team.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think that a little bit disingenuous to the rest of the team. We were still winning games without him. The same has been the case without the likes of Gerrard and Sturridge, both of whom have made excellent contributions in assists and goalscoring.

That said, Suarez is the best player in the league by a distance so of course he's gonna have that kind of impact. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so. It's better to have him in your side than the opponents.

People used to call us a one man team with Torres, but I just don't buy that argument at all. We had Mascherano, Reina, Alonso, Caragher and Gerrard in their prime behind him. That's a lot of quality. The focal point is always the attacker though when they are banging in the goals, which, let's be honest, is in the job description.
                                Oh I don't know.
