Arsenal will have 7 points on us if they do Everton tomorrow. It's theirs to lose.

I'll start getting interested if we're within 4 points after chrimbo. But for now not even thinking about it. Just enjoying where we are right now.

      I'd take 4 points too.

I'm still maintain keep our best XI fit and playing regularly we have a chance.

I'd defo take four points from the three tough away games, providing we win against Cardiff

7 points between now and jan, plus our rivals have extra games due to Europe and we will be in a nice position

Get two or three players in January and who knows
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Anything more than 4 points and we've got to be satisfied at least.

can we have Alex merge this thread with the scared of heights thread please.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

More than 4 points has to mean we've not lost, other than 6 points which means we have but that we've won twice. Either way, 5+ points would be lovely

Could it be a very strange sit-e-a-shun where 5pts would suit better than 6?

                    Yeah thats true.

But looking on the bright side after this run of fixtures we'll have been away to all the tough teams: arsenal, man city, chelsea, spurs, everton & newcastle. So hopefully our 2nd half of the season will yield more points.

                      Arsenal's next 6 fixtures: Everton (h), Napoli (a), Man City (a), Chelsea (h), West Ham (a), Newcastle (a)

Still think Arsenal/Chelsea/City will pull away from the rest of us. But this 4th place is going to be a real race between us, Spurs, Blue****e and the Mancs. We've got to get harder to score against away from home though if we want to stick around. If we can beat Spurs next Sunday and draw the other two, then that would be fantastic as I think we'll flatten Cardiff in between those games.

If we beat Cardiff at home and lost our 3 away games we'd be 8 points better off than after 19 games last season and would have already gone away to Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Everton, and Spurs.

The only disappointing thing in that would be losing 3 games to our rivals.

IF we sort our defence out - the title is definaltely a possibility. There is not a team in the league that i dont expect our forwards to score a goal or two against.

Spurs, City, Chelsea... we'll know more after that. To be honest, I'm just happy to finish top 4 and attract top talent in July.
