Of course, but it isn't poor. At least it's given young players a chance, Sterling has tremendously benefited from playing and Ibe is another one who'll be quality. Think it all comes down to Brendan's quality of coaching and man management and he's brave enough to give young players a chance. Are we winning?

I don't think the title is very realistic, but catching Arsenal is entirely possible... This run of fixtures for them over the next 6 weeks could see them outside of the top 4 if they don't get their **** together.
If we can get into third and not have to qualify for the champions league, it will make our summer much easier both in terms of fixtures and our ability to spend, safe in the knowledge we will have the extra income.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.

I think if we make Europe next season will be interesting because we haven't seen much changing/resting of players under Brendan Rodgers (either because we haven't got enough players to do so or because we needed to because we haven't been playing 2 games a week.Originally posted by Rigadon View PostI think our squad depth is limited. IMO, if (when
) we get into the Champions League, we will need to recruit at least 4 or 5 quality (first team) players.
We found under Rafa that we dropped a lot of points when we rested players, and I think we've been playing such good football this season because we've had a settled team. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

im suprised everyone is so grounded
but its not gonna happen but were 4 points off the probable champions in Feb.
Would be great if we could hang in, I remember in 08/09 when the mood all of sudden changed after the Madrid/Mancs games the belief was there with fans and Villa at home felt like a European night with the atmosphere and we smashed them 4-0

agree with all of that. Brendan's trust in youth (and getting the very best out of players) has been a big feature of his time at Liverpool. Any young player with a desire to do well in the Prem would love to play for him.
Europe, next season, would put massive pressure on our current squad.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think if we make Europe next season will be interesting because we haven't seen much changing/resting of players under Brendan Rodgers (either because we haven't got enough players to do so or because we needed to because we haven't been playing 2 games a week.

That is why I'm expecting a number of the players who have been out on loan, Borini, Wisdom etc to be around as well as some new signings, I don't expect as big a clear out as some have been suggesting, simply because we need number as well as quality.Originally posted by Rigadon View PostEurope, next season, would put massive pressure on our current squad. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

were gonna be bottom seeds as wellOriginally posted by Gibbo View PostThing is Europa League is different to the CL, our current squad players would probably struggle to cut it even in the "simple" games in the CL
For me - to compete I reckon we will have to spend big in summer 4 or 5 players may need to come in.
