To put this in context, no team in the top flight has ever won 14 consecutive games in one season which is what we need to do to guarantee the title, the only team to win that many games on the trot was Arsenal which was spent over the end of one season and the start of the next.

This 14 game on the trot win isn't even relevant. we have 6 games left and whatever we have won in the past is now irrelevant. All we have to do is win the last 6 games.

True, but each game doesn't get harder just because your on that streak does it, it's dependant on how we and the other team play and not the fact we are on a run, is really my point.

But with each passing victory, there becomes more pressure and that's before you look at the mental exertion, the expectation and the fact it's at the end of the season - I think you can say it gets harder. You're touched on the law of averages earlier; I guess it depends on superstition, fate, etc.
