Interesting to see that the last 3 seasons showed the same points scored in each. Although, the figures from last season are slightly obscured because of his dreadful start

"It's almost like an experiment to see just how poor you can be defensively and still qualify for the Champions League"
"It's rare that we get the chance to see what happens when a potentially title-challenging attack plays with a mid-table defence"
That's us in a nutshell this season. !!!!
Loving it !😜🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

How is it more likely for us to finish 5th than win the league? Look at the table. We are currently four points off the top, and six points off 5th (7 essentially with our goal difference).
"it's not beyond the realms of possibility for us to lose our next two games." - It's not beyond the realms of possibility we could win them both. In fact form suggests (we've got more points in 2014 than anyone else) that we're more likely to win them both.
Why so negative?

I must admit I am getting a bit excited about this run in.
We're definitely in with a shout, we're confident, we're playing well and teams are scared of us that includes the big boys and two of the top three are yet to visit. The more I think about it now the more I feel we can do them and fight for this ****ing title.
I didn't feel like that a couple of weeks ago but we have to keep winning. A loss or a draw against Southampton is no good to us we have to keep fighting, keep winning and get more solid at the back. If we can do that we have a great chance.
Keep positive guys and keep believing, things are just getting interesting.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Daniel Sturridge is only the second player in Premier League history (after Ruud van Nistelrooy who did it twice) to score in 8+ PL games in a row. Van Nistelrooy holds the record having scored in 10 successive PL games in 2003.
Liverpool have broken the all-time Premier League record for first-half goals in a season (46).
with 11 games left!!
Daniel Sturridge now has 18 goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season.
Liverpool have scored before half-time in each of their last 17 Premier League games.
Luis Suarez now has the joint-most goal assists in the Premier League this season (9), as well as being top scorer (23).
Liverpool have now scored 10 goals before half-time in their last three Premier League games at Anfield.
Liverpool's Premier League games this season have seen a total of 105 goals, nine more than any other side (Man City, 96).
Liverpool have conceded 3+ goals in a PL home game for only the second time under Brendan Rodgers (L 1-3 to Villa in December 2012).
The Reds have scored 13 goals in their last three Premier League games at Anfield._____________________________________

What are the betting odds on Rodgers for Manager of the Season?
UPDATE: It's 7/1. ****ing Pelligrini is 9/4 and Mourinho is 5/2. WTF? With those teams?
Pullis is next (admittedly he has done a great job) and Rodgers is 7/1. Worth a go?Last edited by Fosterbloke; 25-02-14, 12:38 AM.Was muß, das muß.

he would have to win the league for that and you can get 8/1 although it never stopped MoyesOriginally posted by foresterbloke View PostWhat are the betting odds on Rodgers for Manager of the Season?
