Also, Chelsea aren't going into next season with **** all up front and Man City aren't having a Shawn Michaels impersonator playing alongside Kompany next season. I'm praying we don't let this incredible opportunity slip through our fingers as it could be the best chance for a while!
But this year we never had a chance, Spurs had spent 100m+, Arsenal had Ozil, Chelsea had Maureen back,City spent big again....

This isnt flash in the pan form and see no reason why we wont challenge next year to.

We'll be challenging for the title for the next few seasons. BR has us humming like a well oiled machine.

Hopefully we will, still no reason not to get carried away with this one.

Palace winning yesterday was brilliant.....hopefully they will be on the lash celebrating safety by the time we go there......

Imo it will depend heavily if we will be able to keep Suarez and if we will be able to address the most critical areas in the summer and bring some additional quality.

Next year we will be competing on many different fronts including CL so quality and depth of our squad will really matter and teams will be looking at us differently.

Also all our competitors will improve significantly during the off season so it will be extremely difficult to repeat this season but not impossible.

I reckon we'll focus on the league again with the CL and cups taking a back seat. My thoughts behind that thinking is that we will gradually strengthen to be able to really compete against Europe's best like we have in the league and to do that we need to get 4th or above in the league.

                From the Guardian.

                Monday 5 May

Crystal Palace v Liverpool 8pm, SS1 Liverpool visit Palace, where they have not won in four matches. They did, though, ease to a 3-1 home win in October.

                  Today

Liverpool v Man City 1.37pm, SS1 Crunch meeting of the two teams in control of their destiny. Liverpool have won their last nine in the league, scoring 32 goals.

Swansea v Chelsea 4.07pm, SS1 Chelsea must guard against a Champions League hangover. Injury rules out Eden Hazard from return to the scene of that ballboy incident.

                  Wednesday

Man City v Sunderland 7.45pm The first of City's two games in hand is against a team fighting for survival. City cruised to a 3-1 win in the Capital One Cup final.

                  Saturday 19 April

Chelsea v Sunderland 5.30pm, SS1 Three days before the first leg against Atlético Madrid, Chelsea face the strugglers they beat 4-3 in December.

                  Sunday 20 April

Norwich v Liverpool 12pm, SS1 Reds banker? They have won the last four meetings 3-0, 5-2, 5-0, 5-1. Luis Suárez has scored hat-tricks in both his Norwich visits.

                  Monday 21 April

Man City v West Brom 8pm, SS1 City play last in the Easter bank holiday weekend, against a bottom-half side they have beaten at home in their past four meetings.

                  Sunday 27 April

Liverpool v Chelsea 2.05pm, SS1 Could it be the title decider? Chelsea haven't won at Anfield since 2010 but they beat Rogers' side 2-1 at Christmas.

Crystal Palace v Man City 4.10pm, SS1 City kick off shortly after their rivals slug it out. Chelsea tripped up at Palace and Tony Pulis's side are no walkover.

                  Saturday 3 May

Everton v Man City 5.30pm, SS1 Everton are pursuing fourth with only one home defeat this season – but could a win here help Liverpool win a first title in 24 years?

                  Sunday 4 May

Chelsea v Norwich 4pm, SS1 Chelsea have 4-0, 4-0, 3-1 and 4-1 home wins over Norwich since 2002 and need to inflate their goal difference in case it's decisive.

                  Monday 5 May

Crystal Palace v Liverpool 8pm, SS1 Liverpool visit Palace, where they have not won in four matches. They did, though, ease to a 3-1 home win in October.

                  Wednesday 7 May

Man City v Aston Villa 7.45pm At last, City's final game in hand – but against one of the four teams to have beaten them in the league this season (3-2 in September).

                  Sunday 11 May

Cardiff v Chelsea 3pm The final games all kick off at the same time. Chelsea have a final chance to boost their goal difference at lowly Cardiff.

Liverpool v Newcastle 3pm The toughest final-day assignment. The teams drew 2-2 in October, with Daniel Sturridge equalising late on.

Man City v West Ham 3pm In three meetings this season City lead West Ham 12-1. Looks promising.

Any slip up from City or Chelsea and it's pretty much all over. City with Palace and Everton away looks very tough. If Chelsea drop any points before our game then they may throw in the towel as long as we beat Norwich next week.

Palace away is our toughest game left. Honestly think we'll win the other 3 without issue.

Our win today puts Chelsea back in the race, they will be well up for the game today and if they beat us they go ahead of us.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's gonna go all the way to the last match I'm afraid.

If Chelsea draw with Swansea then we can technically get away with a draw against Chelsea without too much issue. I think we'll beat the boring cunts anyway.
