I have a feeling if we win our next three games, that'll be enough. Think City will slip up again and Chelsea, I can see them losing points at home.

I can, I definitely see both teams slipping up as much as a bunch of ****ing snakes Chelsea are. What worries me is that I can see us slipping up too.

Chelsea are dog **** away from home. I know they raised it against City but they've lost recently at Villa and Palace, lost earlier in the season at Everton and didn't even try to win at Arsenal or United. They will set up much tougher to beat than City but I don't think they can live with us. No one in this league can.

thinking ahead then - i'd defo rest sturridge for norwich and hope we can get him fit for chelsea

and i was thinking of starting allen/lucas/gerrard as henderson is out

but with chelsea being huge i'd prob consider starting moses instead of one of allen/lucas


give him a bit of a "you want to be here/be part of this/earn this medal, then this your chance - you're starting against norwich and if you put in a shift you can stay"

get a decent 90 mins out him and it means we hopefully keep sturridge and one of the midfielders fresh for chelsea which a game where they will be needed more.

i believe with gerrard/suarez/sterling/coutinho on the pitch plus hopefully a motivated Moses then we should have enough to beat norwich

also - pleased with arsenal's win yesterday - they needed to pull their finger out and it keeps everton/arsenals fight for 4th going, which will hopefully lead to Everton vs City being a big game for both sides and everton getting something

My initial post match reaction was that Moses might come in for Sturridge. I soon changed my mind and predicted Sterling will get pushed up top, but your point has me thinking that Moses definitely won't play now as I'm sure Rodgers will be experimenting with what could be successful against Chelsea if Sturridge isn't fit and obviously Moses won't be able to play that game. So IMO, no point in playing Moses and finding he's a good replacement for Sturridge to have to change things up again the following week.

If Moses puts in a match-winning performance and we go on to win the league then the winners' medal he receives is something we'll have earned rather than just been given for making up the numbers - that should be motivation enough.

yeah i do see your point - i'd argue though that we know how to win without Sturridge (and suarez for that matter) as we have had to this season - personally, i'm pretty confident that if sturridge is struggling for chelsea, then suarez/sterling/coutinho as a front three could still win us the game. - Plus we have to take into consideration we don't have henderson and midayield is very lightweight in numbers - play moses and ensure we have a midfielder 100% for chelsea? maybe a bit negative i don't know - my head everyday is just doing somersaults thinking of every scenario tomorrow i'll have another idea
