Driven 350 miles on my own today and couldn't stop thinking about what might happen in the next few weeks. I came to the conclusion that

We will beat Norwich, draw with Chelsea, draw with Palace and beat Newcastle - 85pts
Chelsea will beat Sunderland, draw with us, and win their last two games - 85pts
City will draw with Everton and win their other 4 games - 84pts

We'll win it on GD

Hmm. Can't stop thinking about the position we're in. Woke up at 0500 this morning and raised my arms in triumph and then went back to sleep. Just been on a cheslea forum which is not something i do ordinarily. All saying they will ruin the "bin dipper love-in" from the media and how much they have been here before - beating us 2-0 in May 2010 (conveniently forgetting SG played a key through ball for them). Scum. Hopefully Sunderland will get something though

had been up early yesterday so took the knock last night at 1 nil to city woke up about half 10 and thought need to set my alarm so set it and thought oh better see how city got on still half asleep just saw city drop points that was it then wide awake finally got to sleep woke up at 4 45 for work and straight away mind was on football mode someone said this was supposed to be fun

The last time both arsenal and man utd finished missed out on a top 4 place was 35 years ago 1978-79 season. The same season Liverpool won the League and Everton were 4th. Liverpool won there last 4 games without conceding a goal and were unbeaten in there last 8 games and... that season Liverpool beat utd 3-0 at old trafford and arsenal won the fa cup ending a 8 year trophy drought??? .... just saying

I really don't think I've ever wanted something for someone else (outside my family and close friends) as much as I want the title for Gerrard. Thats all I'm thinking about lately, seeing him lift the Cup.

Not only that, but I would not be surprised if Abramovich told Maureen to prioritise the CL over the EPL. Roman bought Chelsea to try to turn them into a top European power; to be another Real Madrid or Barcelona. So I reckon he wants the European Cup more than he wants the Prem. So it may indirectly work out for us if Atlético can get a couple of goals up in their first leg.
