Our last defeat was on the 29th of December away to the Chavs. Unbelievable record that but will we go all the way unbeaten and win the title? Which team was the last to do that, wern't it United? They say our days are numbered were not famous anymore but Scousers rule the country like we've always done before!

Correct - 3rd. Palace 2nd with 5 wins on the bounce and amazingly/surprisingly Stoke are 4th. United 5th.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostWho are the other four? I would have expected Everton to be in there?
Then City, Spurs, Chelsea in 6th to 8th placesFootball without Origi is nothing

Boss that.Originally posted by Rigadon View PostCan't see WBA beating City on Monday. However, I think there's every chance that we'll effectively win the league next Sunday i.e. we beat Chelsea and City lose to Palace. We'll then need one point from our last two games. They say our days are numbered were not famous anymore but Scousers rule the country like we've always done before!

3 games to go!! How exciting is this run in.
Really need point against Chelsea at the least. I'm afraid if we lose that one, we could end up missing the title on goal difference. That would be incredibly painfull. Still not convinced that City win their remaining games, but if they do we need 7 points from the last three. Possible for sure, and Chelsea is not that dangerous a team anymore and they have a CL match before and after.
Thinking about this all day now, and probably will for the next 3 weeks

Yes if WBA, Palace and us win our next games we will be champions next weekend. But it's unlikely to happen.Originally posted by topscorer View PostOk tell me if this is right -
If WBA, Palace and us win our next games we will be champions next weekend?
If WBA win tomorrow will the trophy be near Anfield next weekend in case the results above happen?
I very much doubt that they would have the trophy there for that. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
