How can they spend 100m when they have a 50m fine to cover?

    Comment

      cause they're owned by billionaires.

also the £50m fine doesn't effect their books so to speak...so the owners will jsut write the cheque.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Surely they can't spend that much without falling foul of FFP again?

Aren't they just witholding their €20m prize money for three years? Or is that PSG?

I guess it will be the same once Manchester City have reached an agreement.

Unfortunately I do think the best team is going to win the league. Just
            .
Just not the best performing team, but agree they do have the best squad.

edit: That would be if they did win it though of course, which unfortunately for them they wont.

It's not over yet. Fat Sam would love to have the Liverpool fans owing him one. Plus, he's that type of character, the attention he would get from beating City on the last day to stop them taking the title may prove irresistible...

City now with 10 men hear LFC have taken the lead and are happy to keep things tight and go for a draw.....10 mins to go and LFC are winning 5-0 and the City game is 0-0......Stoppage time and West Ham give it a bit of a push....Yaya Toure body checks super sub Joe Cole just inside the City half....West Ham send everyone forward....free kick goes into the box from Downing...there is an almighty scramble and Demichilis tries to clear the ball but only pokes it to the feet of the big man Andy Carroll.....he turns...composes himself and unleashes the mother of all left foot shots into the top corner!!!!!

                        That is bull**** Reece.

West Ham have copped a beating off them every time they have played them this season. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that West Ham will even get a point

Wouldn't be a 6 point swing for definite. They scored two and with that goal we would've scored two so they lose two points and we gain one.

It'd still have us ahead though

Football can often baffle you with strange results.

                            I'm with you Reece

27 April 2003 is the last time West Ham United won at Manchester City in the Premiership. Surely they're due one ....

I did think that out of their last 3 games, West Ham were the ones who might take points. They can be pretty awkward
