Its easy to post when things go well though isn't it, thats why people haven't picked up on our abysmal form because we've been second. I bet a lot on football, form is everything and something I keep an eye on, stats interest me.

In my opinion, Rogers did nothing to deserve a job like this, he hasn't achieved anything. Last year we didn't even qualify for Europe, that is under achieving. This year will be hit or miss, even without European football to distract us and couple this with all of the changes going on at City, Chelsea and Utd, this really is our best chance and he's started to cock it all up.

We'll see at the end of the season, but 6th or 7th is where we'll end up IMO and thats not good enough.

Anyway, we're digressing here. Back to the point, 1 win ahead of the relegation zone over the second half of the season so far, our form of late has been piss poor.

It isn't though, it's much braver to post something negative when things are going well. Like I said, if you'd been "banging on", as you put it, about our form after beating West Brom or Fulham, your posts would have a lot more credibility.

Out of curiosity, who do you think should be Liverpool manager?

First rough patch of the season, lets hope we can get back on track against Norwich. Its a poor result and its shown us a bit of what reality looks like but if we can still be in the mix by January we have a chance. Rodgers, who if we're honest didn't add much to the squad in the summer has to try and pull something off along the lines of Coutinho or Sturridge.

Sterling needs a loan as does Ilori, if we can add 1 more attacking player and CM we'll be much better placed until the summer when we have to sort out LB and the Aspas/Moses place in the squad. *cough* and Suarez's replacement *cough*

EDIT: When I say have a chance, I mean of finishing in the top 4.

Huh? When we were second before this weekend our form was played 6, won 3, drawn 2, lost 1 and that included aways at Arsenal and Everton. Hardly abysmal.

I think the full effect of the results against Newcastle, Everton and Hull, games we should have won will be felt if/when we drop points in the tough run of fixtures coming up.

Think sometimes we can say 'ah well but other teams dropped points as well and we're still only 4 points off top', but they're all missed opportunities. Missed opportunities to create a gap between us and rival teams for top 4 spots.

The last 6 games have been away to 1st, 5th, and 6th. Lost/Draw/Draw - not as much as we would have wanted but considering we are targeting 4th a draw away to 5th or 6th is not too shabby at all. The other three games were 2 wins aggregate 8-1 and the only really unexpectedly disappointing result this weekend.

                    We're hardly in crisis.

Theres plenty of far better managers out there, getting them is another thing I know, but we should never have been contemplating someone with as little experience or success as Rogers. I really do believe that the guy is a charlatan and he wouldn't have been here under different ownership.

Don't be mistaken in believing that I think we should be winning the league, because I don't. I do think we should be pushing for 4th and believe that we won't be there once again.

Well we are in 4th so perhaps you should lay off the "charlatan" for a bit?

Thats exactly my point, I'm talking about the form even though we were second at the time, our form has been very hit and miss whilst others have begun to move on. The fact of the matter is still that over the last 6 games we've taken just 8 points, if you're ok with that fair enough, but you shouldn't be.

Why are you including Hull? You were talking about when we were second when our form was played 6, won 3, drawn 2, lost 1. Nearly 2 points per game, a mile away from "abysmal" as you called it.

I have a question for you...

If you have such standards, why do have the same username as a particularly rubbish footballer? It seems a little bit incongruous to me.
                                Oh I don't know.
