Henderson is battling on. He wouldn't be playing at the moment if we had everyone available. That ankle injury is still bothering him and he's being nursed through it.

i reckon that we are sitting back more and not pressing like we did in the spurs game. it might be more down to brendan subtly tweaking his plan rather than our midfield personnel being ****e, although there were overwhelmed today.

Not forgetting Spurs and Hull from the top half. In fact, we've only not played 2 in the top half away! And we've played 11th place away

          Howard Webb is a joke.
Agreed the midfield, in the first half, was poor. Why single out Henderson and Allen. What about Lucas?
          Another MASSIVE game

Centre of midfield always look weak against sides that pack up the midfield like Chelsea do. It's not an indictment to the players we have but to the tactics employed by Rodgers. We just need to have a bit more of a cutting edge when we have the ball and we'll be alright. We dominate games with that seemingly 'weak' midfield with the seemingly small ****house Allen, so we'll be world beaters when we replace him with Diame, or Diouf, or Anita or another big ****ing hard ****house.
            Are we winning?

I guess a lot of the top teams are yet to play each other (Spurs vs Manure next!) so they will be dropping points there too while hopefully we can get back to winning ways starting at Hull.

maybe gerrard isnt the motor to drive our midfield, but he is still a leader. that is what we are missing in the back and middle of our team.

we need a strong strong DM.

I just hope we will have enough fit players to play.

Looking at the players we want to bring in (Rakitic, Salah and Montoya), I can see how they would have improved us today.

Because they are there to support the attack and quite frankly, didn't do it enough in that regard, especially in the first half. They both left Suarez isolated far too often.

I'm not listening to Mourinho mouth farting his way through a Sky post match interview, I'm going to continue on the mind bleach.

I think they were OK. Obviously they were playing a more subdued game due to Chelsea's quality in midfield.

Chelsea supposedly have their midgets who love to play football but he's still managed to make them as vile as the last lot. Oscar going in like that on an international teammate summed them up, utter filth. The sooner Mourinho is out of this country again the better.

                              Also consider we're missing -

                              Sturridge, Gerrard, Enrique and Flanagan.

If we can add three really good players in January, we'll be ready for the second half of the season and a realistic assault on the top 3.

                                Coutinho was extremely wasteful.
