The centre of midfield looked so week today, both Henderson and Allen where poor and just got ran around for so long. Johnson was very weak and dithering. Coutinho and Suarez were isolated far too often in the game. Smith may as well not played, he clearly isn't ready, hopefully he can improve.

Agreed the midfield, in the first half, was poor. Why single out Henderson and Allen. What about Lucas?

Centre of midfield always look weak against sides that pack up the midfield like Chelsea do. It's not an indictment to the players we have but to the tactics employed by Rodgers. We just need to have a bit more of a cutting edge when we have the ball and we'll be alright. We dominate games with that seemingly 'weak' midfield with the seemingly small ****house Allen, so we'll be world beaters when we replace him with Diame, or Diouf, or Anita or another big ****ing hard ****house.

I think they were OK. Obviously they were playing a more subdued game due to Chelsea's quality in midfield.
