Personally, I think he should have let rip, but then, I'm a bitter man.Originally posted by Deano View PostShouldn't have done
Brendan took a few mins and simmered. Disappointed Carra hasn't destroyed Webb, but he's a third party now. It's been left to Neville both times now.

Yep, its ****ing horrible losing to them cunts, always the same, our players are assaulted, stonewall pens not given and half the match is a foul fest as they're allowed to get away with murder so we are never allowed to really get any momentum. ****ing horrible. Cant wait till he's out of the country, never liked them under Ancelotti, Di Matteo or Rafa but their conduct was much improved then.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHaven't been this angry after a defeat for ages. **** off Webb you ****ing cunt.

In a bid to inject some positivity:
Half way through a transitional season, we're in fifth, six points off the top,and a point off the CL places.
Our goal difference gives us the equivalent of an extra point over everyone bar City.
We've played well even when we've lost, and no one has owned us so far this season.
Our style of play is coming on hugely, and players like Henderson have suddenly taken a huge leap forward.
Of the top 8, we've only played Man Utd at Anfield.
We're missing three first 11 players and have been for over a month.
Our next few games are eminently winnable, and if we get wins over Everton and Arsenal at home then we'll be top four again by early Feb if not before.
It is all to play for in the second half of the season - some astute January additions, and taking advantage of playing our rivals at home, and we're right back in the mix.

I agree that we need to use the poor decisions as a team bonding catalyst to go on a winning streak...
Henderson needs to keep Huddlestone busy on Saturday...
