Wasn't a red card and we might have missed the pen. We were **** and didn't deserve anything from it.Originally posted by john316 View Post
He denied us an absolute stone wall penalty and should have sent off Eto'o in the second minute. Kind of altered the outcome!Originally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

Gave the remote to the missus just after the match and told her to sack it off. Glad I did it.Originally posted by Muddled View PostMourinho saying Hazard is a big lad and wouldn't go down easy, so it was a penalty to Chelsea. He then goes on to call Suarez a diver and it should have been a yellow card. Mourinho is such a massive weapon ... why did I leave the TV on?
Are we winning?

We can moan about Webb, and we probably should have had a penalty, but overall we didn't deserve anything. Defensively we are woeful. Spurs is the only clean sheet we kept in months. Sakho is our best defender. Skrtel makes at least one huge error every game now, whether its own goals or totally switching off like he did today. Johnson has been incredibly poor and needs a kick up the backside if we only had another right back fit. Kelly's boots are made of lead which is why he us not an option. Agger is way too slow for left back. Cissokho switches off. Enrique is by far our best option. We are in trouble now with Sakho injured. A lot if the problem against Arsenal and Chelsea is that the player who is supposed to protect the centre halves is not mobile enough. Several times in these games Lucas has looked like he's running in sand. Depending on the Allen situation, we need Gerrard to play there now, until we can get a decent mobile defensive mid in to sort out that position once and for all. One other attacker in the Salah mold to replace the inept Moses would be great, then have Sturridge back to help Luis. In a nutshell, a DM, Salah, and a full back

To be fair the stats only show the whole team suddenly becoming poor, that's not all on Reina.Originally posted by Nigey View PostPepe at his peak was a much better keeper.
I just think that Mig's kicking and throwing are both really poor. It severely hinders our play at times. We have enough pace to break away, and its frustrating to see the short throw or an aimless long ball forward either fall short or end up nowhere.
I don't think we can really think of him as a long term solution unless he can improve on those a lot. Although great keepers are few and far between and normally quite expensive, and I think the team has bigger problems that need fixing. An established centreback pairing would be a good start. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

We were second in every department today. Outplayed, outmuscled, lost out on second balls. Passing wasn't sharp.
It's one of those games where we've just got to hold our hands up and say they were better than us. It showed how lacking we are compared to other teams, and that we've done amazingly well until this point.
