Took a full three points from a fixture that Everton and City only got a draw out of, and that Chelsea lost, so quite pleased. Need to sort out the defense, though.

Looks to be really lacking in confidence. That said he's not helped with such a porous defence and the weather conditions were hardly helping.

What an amazing game, an advertisement for English football. Let's not do this again.

Good win at a side that doesn't conceded at home, 7 goals all season and we've just smashed 5 past them.

Some of the expectations on here are unrealistic, there are 2 sides playing football that funnily enough aren't too bad; we've no divine right to beat sides which some seem to think we have

We did well considering our back 4 were terrible for the most part.

A cracking game for neutrals though wasn't it.

Oh & we don't win at the Potters so that was an important 3 points.

Great to get the three points no issues going forward

But we do have issues in the middle and defence that need sorting

But **** it...3 points in a massive game away to a tough side having seen all our rivals win before us.

3 points. An incredibly important win. 12 points from our last 18 - top four form.

What can be said about Suarez and Sturridge - remarkable

Sterling was superb today I thought. Got a lot of stick from the crowd and still performed very well.

Need to sort out the midfield ASAP.

Really enjoyed that game, fantastic from the team.

Incredible match, back and forth for 90 min. Good effort by both teams, and impressed with Stokes mentality and workrate today!

Happy with the win, we deserved it after all.

Awesome comeback by Sturridge, so important to have an extra danger up front again. And especially with the current defence, or at least the one on the form today. My god Skrtel and Toure were poor today. Toure cost 2 goals (one shared with Mignolet) and Skrtel one as well. How can they be allowed to get goals twice from shots between the legs Really 101 of defending to close your legs.

Other than that, I can have no complaints today and a very satisfactory win. Quite some feat scoring 5 at Britania And nice to be back in top-4 after all the rivals winning this round. Pressure was really on after the latest run of away form and all.

An absolutely insane game of football. Not sure if I'm delighted or dismayed at what I just watched!!

Suarez/Sturridge though are just incredible. The link up between those two makes me drool.

Defence was just an utter shambles. Not sure it can get much worse than that today as a unit. Sakho's reputation is enhanced just by not being involved today!!
