I think we had an opportunity to win the game but we seemed nervous of losing the ball and having nobody to cover.

I hope we can go back to being more fluid in midfield. The game against Everton will be a true test and I'm a little nervous to be honest.

Sakho & Mignolet (not quite on form at the moment) for starters.

Mignolet seems to be creating a problem rather than solving one. I thought he was strictly a goal line keeper - he did the unexpected which lead to the second goal. He never comes off his line and Glen had that covered, until Mignolet flapped at it. Utter brain fade from him - he's causing issues every week.

He's also keeping us in games, every week i.e. defensively, we are all over the place.

We definitely aren't winning any leagues this season. I guess its all about the scrap for 4th. We might have a lot of the top teams to come at home, but can anyone really see us winning all them? Suarez was trying too much, hogging the ball (old school terminology) but its hard to say anything negative about him.

I will say this now, I don't think our style suits winning a league just like arsenals doesn't. Utd in their day, city now and Chelsea pressure the **** out of teams in the last 15 mins, they put more attackers on and go for the throat. Our style of intricate passes is good on the eye and will get you so far but it will come a cropper at times. Its eye of the needle stuff and off the cuff, Luis has an off day and our play stutters.

Our defence is as jittery as the souness days right now.

Onwards. Two new signings required that can challenge for the first team. Plus get Flanagan and sakho fit quick.

We needed a bit more luck to nab the 3 points today because technical ability was left at Melwood.

Awful wayward passing, particularly by Gerrard and Coutinho. I wasn't surprised to see Coutinho taken off at half time.

Cissokho isn't good enough for us, luckily he's just a loan signing. The sooner Flanagan is back the better.

I think Coutinho will be rested for a couple of games and his confidence will be worked on at Melwood before he comes back.

Not a very impressive performance for the owners to see but at least we pulled it together enough to get a point.

Also think our best defensive pairing is Sahko and Agger IMO so it's actually quite impressive that we can put out such a back four with these injuries.

This would be our best back four. Pretty much all injured.

We definitely need a strong and mobile DM which means Gerrard can play further forward. I hope we can sign Matuidi or Fernando. M'Vila sounds like a bit of a headcase.
