I didn't think the pitch helped today. It seemed very 'springy', the bounce of the ball was very erratic and I thought both teams struggled with it to some degree.

Eh!... What a grim post that is...

If we were level on points with the others mentioned, then maybe/perhaps slit your wrists if you want but jeez, we are still 2 points clear in 4th!

Tricky games against Arse and Southampton but with Fulham, Swansea, Sunderland and Cardiff coming up!! Stay positive...

Some people need to have a word..

The goal was bad luck, but they showed nothing for the entire game, it was disgraceful. I'm so ****in gutted it's unreal.
Seriously? It's a game of football where 11 humans play against another 11 humans. Mistakes will happen and sometimes points are dropped.

Do you think Arsenal supporters calling for Wenger's head when they lost to Aston Villa look like dickheads now? Well that what you'll think of your outburst when you look back.

It's a long battle (15 games to go or so) and we're still in very good shape. There is no downward trend forming so just sit down and look forward to the next match please.

Why can't people have a bit of a rant after a poor result without the condescending replies? The result against West Brom was ****, we should have won that game. It's not the end of the world, but I don't see a problem with anybody venting their frustration.

Agree nothing wrong with a rant, we should have won it. We should have played like it was a cup final, with all guns blazing. But we didn't.

we missed the wonderful opportunity to widen the gap. This may come back to haunt us.

All points lost may come back to haunt us but then again they may not. Move on, we had a so-so game and we will improve for next time.

Besides, I'd rather we have a **** game against West Brom than Arsenal.

I'm still gutted beyond belief about the result. There are absolutely no positives to take from that performance and result.

We are better in every area of the pitch, I wouldn't take a single of of their players even for our bench, they are fighting relegation and will be until the end of the season- it was a must win game where any less is unacceptable.

Its not a silver lining that Spurs drew and UTD lost, because Everton won and we have Arsenal next so are likely to drop out of the top 4.

We don't get annoyed and sulky because we hate the team, its because we love the team and are desperate to get back where we belong- which won't happen with games like that, Villa and Hull- that's 7 points dropped in 3 games we SHOULD have won easily, it's not good enough. That would put us 9 ahead of Everton, and comfortably in the top 4 by the end of the season.

I'm completely on Brendan's side, and this season has been, for the most part, great. But as i said in a post earlier, usually we would be out of the race for top 4 by now so these results wouldn't matter. But we really should be getting that 4th spot as we are the 4th best team, making even more gut wrenching if we end up not in the champions league.

Of course I don't want anyone to **** off, I was just mad. And I'm still very disappointed today, it gets to me.

Whilst I agree there was not much we could take from the performance (apart from Sterling) we could take a positive from the fact that it was a game we got a point in, and that over the last 3/4 seasons probably would have lost.

Really need to address this away form though. If Kolo hadn't have made the mistake it could have happened elsewhere.

That's all fair. Coming off the back of a transfer window where we did no business and seeing Cissokho blag his way through the game made it all the more frustrating for me.

He's quite animated when he plays, t'old Toure.

Unfortunately, the clips that spring to mind are Toure pounded the ground with his fist and lots of 'oh no' faces.
